Shamrock Productions wants to help MMA fighters be seen, and are even promoting WMMA. According to SP, if you start out fighting as an amateur for them, they can then lead you into becoming a pro-fighter, ready to fight for the bigger promotions:
Are you looking to make the next step in your MMA career? As an amateur, fighters train hard, learn as much as they can, and are guided on the right path to make a career in MMA. Shamrock Promotions provides all of that.
If you want to fight in front of 10,000 people in St. Louis on events such as Strikeforce and Fight Me, you need to start with the amateur development Shamrock Promotions offers. By fighting on Shamrock Promotion’s cards as an amateur, you can grow and develop with the promoters watching every step of the way.
Fighters that compete on the cards promoted by Shamrock Promotions will have the huge advantage of developing their skills in a professional manner, which will lead to opportunities to fight on Strikeforce, Fight Me MMA and a 3rd major organization Shamrock Promotions is in talks with for events in 2011.
On April 2nd, Shamrock MMA: Bad Blood, will feature a female MMA fight on their card in St. Louis: “Bad” Brittany Anic will be taking on Glena “Heartless” Avila at the Stratford Inn in St. Louis, MO. Tickets are pretty hefty for a new promotion that’s showcasing unpaid ammy fighters who haven’t yet made a name for themselves: $60 for Platinum seats and $65 for VIP. The strength of this organization may be questionable, but we wish them the best and hope to see good things out of Shamrock Productions. Call 314-608-1351 for tickets!
